South Cobb High School Academy of Research and Medical Sciences

provides an opportunity for an in-depth exploration of medical sciences and scientific research. Coursework is tailored to infuse current topics in medical science as well as cutting edge research techniques and data analysis. The medical science portion of the program utilizes the on-site medical lab/clinic and provides access to teachers with industry experience. The research portion of the program is emphasized throughout all four years of the program and culminates in an original research project and a chance to intern with a local health professional or business of the student’s choice.
